ASID Concludes GATHER 2025 in Atlanta, Celebrating 50 Years of Design Excellence

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) concluded its national conference, GATHER 2025, on August 19, as the association celebrated 50 years of ASID. Over three days, the conference brought together 850 interior design professionals for immersive workshops, professional networking, and impactful sessions.

The conference kicked off with the “Cheers to Excellence” Awards Reception and Anniversary Toast, highlighting the honorees of the organization’s esteemed National Awards program. Other recipients were recognized throughout the show, concluding with the closing keynote that honored winners of the 2025 Student Portfolio Competition and ASID Foundation & Scholarship Awards—celebrating the talent, innovation, and impact of the interior design community.

ASID also proudly welcomed new incoming members of its 2025–2026 National Board of Directors, whose expertise, diverse perspectives, and shared passion will aim to shape the future of design:

The Society further announced GATHER Catalyst 2026, taking place in Dallas, TX, from September 16–18, offering a premier opportunity to explore the future of design leadership and strengthen connections within the design community. To close out a successful conference, ASID hosted the Golden Soiree at the Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Ballroom, celebrating 50 years of design excellence.
