Arper CEO named President of FederlegnoArredo, organizer behind Salone
On 30 October, the general assembly of FederlegnoArredo elected Claudio Feltrin as President of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian trade association that represents companies in the wood- furniture sector.
Claudio Feltrin is the President and CEO of Arper SpA, a leading Italian company that creates chairs, tables, and furnishings for community, work and home. In 2014, he became part of the Board of Directors of Assarredo, of which, in 2017, he became President until September 2020. He is a member of the Board of Directors of FederlegnoArredo Eventi SpA and, from today, he is at the helm of FederlegnoArredo for the four-year period 2020-2024, succeeding Emanuele Orsini.
“I would like to thank all those who have supported me in this adventure which, given the historical moment we are experiencing, presents many challenges. “The choice to run for the presidency of FederlegnoArredo was made because, through the leadership of the Federation, I intend to support ideas and initiatives on subjects that are also close to my company’s heart. Sustainability and access to resources, be they natural or human; the creation of a supply chain network; skill training, so that business culture can be strengthen by human capabilities; collaboration with organizations that facilitate both product and process innovation; digitalization and evolution of the way in which we operate our businesses. These developments must be accessible to the entire sector, so that companies can jointly build the foundations for future growth”.
