Effective on April 4th, Amy Storek joins Arper as CEO of Arper Americas.
Within Arper, Storek will lead the further development of the company’s strategic growth plans within the North America and Latin America markets.
Arper holds a strong presence in the Americas, due to the four showrooms in major cities such as New York (headquarters of the Arper USA branch), Los Angeles, Chicago and Mexico City (headquarters of Arper LATAM), and a production facility in High Point, North Carolina. These locations allow Arper to operate as a domestic company with increased efficiency in production and distribution throughout the local markets.
Joining Arper with over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacturing industry, Storek has worked in various positions for global companies such as Herman Miller, Vitra, and Haworth. She has dedicated her career to building dynamic teams and developing strategies for growth through digital transformation and a customer-centric approach. Working most recently as Chief Revenue Officer, Storek directed the enterprise for Pivot Interiors, one of Herman Miller’s largest dealer partners.
Storek’s true passion and experience lie in design as she has collaborated with some of the world’s industry leading companies and design innovators. She is dedicated to the environment and to mentoring through her volunteer work, both with youth programs as well as the IIDA as a member of the International Board of Directors. Having lived in Italy with an ability to speak the language fluently, Storek’s time abroad has given her an appreciation for the authenticity, creativity, and quality that “Made in Italy” has come to signify.
Amy Storek says: “I am so proud to be a part of this incredible company. Arper has always sought to create meaningful and innovative designs, guided by strong values and a commitment to the environment. It’s an extremely exciting time to join Arper and to be a part of the global team leading this next stage of growth. In these changing times, we are seeing unprecedented transformation in how people live and work. Arper is well positioned to solve for the needs of its clients, now and in the future.”
“Amy Storek is a truly perfect fit for Arper” – says Roberto Monti, Arper CEO – “Her personal and professional background, along with her leadership capabilities, makes Amy the ideal CEO to lead the Americas and to fulfill our ambitions to meet the potential of these strategic markets. Her contribution will also be of highest importance at group level, bringing in-depth interior design knowledge and market insights to our customer-centric and sustainability-driven business agenda.”
