Arcadia: Reprise Metal is the New Go-To Solution in Healthcare Seating

Thoughtfully designed to enrich well-being, Reprise Metal offers a comfort-enhancing silhouette to support waiting areas large and small. With glass-reinforced polypropylene arms and the endurance of a metal frame, together with all the same features and benefits of its wood frame equivalent, Reprise Metal becomes the go-to solution for healthcare requirements time and time again.

Beauty, comfort, cleanability, durability—these are the requirements of today’s demanding healthcare environments, and with the launch of the Reprise Metal collection from Arcadia, there’s now a go-to seating solution to meet these conditions time and time again.

Reprise Metal was designed by long-time Arcadia collaborator and designer David Dahl, who thoughtfully created this collection of comfortable guest, bariatric, tandem and modular seating products to support well-being in a variety of healthcare environments. Continuing the design language of the original Reprise Wood series launched last year, Reprise Metal includes the same features and benefits as its wood-frame counterpart, but is constructed of a durable metal frame with glass-reinforced nylon arms for healthcare facilities that are unwilling or unable to specify wood. Its light-scale, contemporary aesthetic belies its enduring metal architecture, while a wide array of finish and upholstery options make it an exceptionally versatile offering.

The collection’s glass-reinforced nylon arms serve the dual purpose of durability and comfort, offering a more inviting resting place over direct contact with metal. Offered in grey or black, they are completed with arm caps in four choices including beech wood, Corian, and either grey or black urethane, all with radiused edges for that softer touch. Arms are seamlessly joined with metal legs which are presented standard in metallic silver or can also be finished in premium color selections.

All models in the collection feature a wall-saver leg design, clean-outs on every side including between seat and back, and come with replaceable componentry ensuring low maintenance and long lifespans. Bariatric models are offered in 34- and 40-inch widths and can be specified independently or in modular combinations with guest chairs, the latter of which are also available in two and three-seat preconfigured units for specification ease. Inline and ending connecting tables further expand the functionality for built-to-order arrangements, bringing an added element of functionality and a wide array of purposes to the mix.

Rounding out the seating offering is a high back patient chair and an easy access model featuring a 25-inch seat height with non-skid brushed stainless-steel footstep for added security.

The Reprise Metal collection also includes a series of coordinating occasional tables to ensure a sense of design continuity. Available in round, square and rectangular shapes in a variety of sizes, all tables feature metal legs and can be specified in beech wood, laminate and Corian top surfaces.

“We’ve had a tremendously successful, 20-plus year relationship with David Dahl, who is responsible for some of our bestselling products of all time, and we believe Reprise Metal will be no exception,” said Helen Kim, Vice President of Marketing for Arcadia. “This new collection meets all the rigorous demands of healthcare environments while maintaining a clean, classic aesthetic for today’s waiting areas, and those yet to come.”
