Arcadia announces the release of Soa, a comprehensive family of seating and tables created in partnership with internationally acclaimed Claudio Bellini Studio, bringing refined softness, comfort and versatility to spaces where thoughtful design matters most.
Developed with the healthcare market in mind, yet intentionally crafted to transcend it, Soa is a study in contrast—inviting in form, resilient in function. From its softly contoured silhouette and elliptical metal tube frame to its generous proportions and intuitive performance features, Soa combines a calming presence with exceptional practicality to support well-being in environments of all kinds.
The full collection includes guest chairs, a bariatric settee, tandem seating, easy-access/hip chairs, benches and occasional tables, each sharing a cohesive design language for consistency across entire floorplans while responding to distinct usage needs.
Guest, tandem, bariatric and hip chairs feature a passive-flex back for added comfort, a wall-saver leg, and clean-outs between all cushions for effortless maintenance. Replaceable components, such as seats, backs, arms and arm caps, extend the product lifecycle and support long-term serviceability.
Tandem models are available in two-, three-, and four-seat preconfigured combinations or as modular units with inline and 90-degree corner connecting tables, allowing nearly limitless layout options. Benches are offered in single, two-seat, two-seat with center table, and three-seat styles, making them an ideal solution for transitional zones, corridors and shared waiting areas.
All models are engineered for durability, with a weight capacity of 500 lbs. per seat and 1,000 lbs. for bariatric models. Arm caps are offered in beech wood, black urethane, or Corian®, and all occasional and connecting table surfaces are available in a wide range of veneer, laminate, Fenix® and Corian selections.
While Soa was conceived for the demands of healthcare, its organic shapes, modularity, and robust performance features lend themselves equally well to a variety of applications, from higher education and corporate lobbies to government buildings and hospitality settings. Wherever a balance of comfort, durability and simplicity in design is needed, Soa offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional.

Soa marks Arcadia’s first project with Claudio Bellini Studio, whose award-winning portfolio includes collaborations with global brands such as Walter Knoll, Pedrali and Restoration Hardware, and follows their successful partnership with Arcadia’s sister brand Encore on the recently introduced Plumeya and Cromo collections.
