Arcadia Introduces the Flirt Collection – Where Collaboration and Flexibility Meet
Today’s collaborative and learning environments demand more flexibility than ever before, and with Flirt, a comprehensive new collection of meeting solutions from Arcadia, style and comfort need not be sacrificed to meet changing user needs. Created in partnership with 5D Studio, Flirt can turn any setting into a gathering place, allowing users to connect one minute, and reconfigure for the next.
Whether used independently or grouped together to fulfill spatial or functional requirements, Flirt’s broad offering of multiuse products allows the maximization of different settings for inspiring and supporting the work at hand. Comprised of nesting guest and lounge chairs, nesting multipurpose tables, easels and divider screens – all of which ensure the utmost in mobility and space-saving opportunities – as well as fixed base models, to include occasional tables, for addressing more stationary meeting requirements.
Lounge seating is available in mid- and high-back styles and as nesting chairs, they are one of its kind in the marketplace. Playing into the informal work postures of the workplace today, it offers a more casual sit, with generous, open-formed upholstery that further encourages sitting in multiple positions. All-purpose casters and flip-up seats enable quick and easy configurability, movement and storage for room changing transformations. The under-seat book rack and flip-up rotating tablet are both optional and maintain the chair’s nesting capacity for noteworthy convenience. Further expanding its range, a swivel base with self-return feature is also offered for applications such as lobby waiting areas, touch-down points, casual meeting spaces and more.
Like its lounge counterpart, Flirt guest offers endless nesting capability, with or without the optional flip-up rotating tablet, but in a more diminutive footprint. At standard seated height, it plays well with any 29″Â high table, or group them together to create conversation hubs, team-building clusters and listen-and-learn settings. Guest chairs are also presented on glides or with a swivel-base option, enabling them to work equally well in environments where fixed seating is the order of the day.
In keeping with its purpose to change and adapt to the needs of the moment, Flirt multi-purpose tables do just that in countless ways. Three heights, various top shapes, veneer and post-formed laminate finish selections, multiple edge details that include a signature waterfall edge, and two base mounting options cater to both aesthetic and functional preferences. These versatile tables can be set-up, transported and stored effortlessly, thanks to a single-lever release mechanism that flips table tops up in one fluid motion.
The interior column of the die-cast aluminum leg features a removable cover for vertical wire management while a wide array of through-the-surface electrical units offer power/data accessibility, essential to today’s tech-dependent needs. Corner and end connecting tables, together with thoughtfully integrated modesty panels and ganging connectors add to the collection’s flexibility.
Complementing the collection’s seating and table offerings is the M.A.T.E., Flirt’s Mobile All-Purpose Teaming Easels designed to help divide spaces while serving as presentation tools. These movable, multi-use easels can be specified in Maple, White Oak or Walnut veneer as well as laminate, whiteboard or upholstered as a tackable surface, in any combination, to create the ultimate meeting resource.
M.A.T.E. stands 71″Â high and is offered in two widths with a convenient side-mount valet table and storage slot for dry-erase markers and/or remote controls. Powered, monitor-ready mounting options, as well as individual electrical units, provide portable media and digital access to always stay connected. The Flirt collection also includes divider screens with many of the same material, leg and mounting options as M.A.T.E. to further delineate space with ease.
Rounding out the series are occasional tables that feature a modern, clean design, allowing them to stand alone in various applications or used collectively to accompany other products in the family. Tables are offered in round and arc square shapes at a 15″ height in various sizes and are available in four surface options, including veneer, laminate, Corian® and back-painted glass (that doubles as a writable surface). Through-the-surface electrical and data capabilities are designed into the base, discreetly facilitating wire management. Meeting tables with fixed pedestal bases in the collection provide a more traditional choice for casual meeting spaces but with plenty of shape, height (26″, 29″, and 42″), surface, and power/data options to choose from.
