Announcing Launch of IFI GAP Awards 2021
We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2nd edition of IFI’s Global Awards Program (IFI GAP) which will open for entries and nominations next week on 1 March 2021.
A prestigious initiative established to recognize and award design excellence at the world level, IFI GAP is comprised of four of the highest honors achievable in the Interior Architecture/Design profession – the IFI PRIZE, IFI Design Journalism Award (IFI DJA), Fellow of IFI (FoIFI) and the IFI Design Distinctions Awards (IFI DDA).
RECIPIENTS & JURY
Biennially IFI GAP honors a select few of Interior Architecture/Design’s most prominent and distinguished leaders along with the best-of-the-best built spaces. We celebrate those who have significantly informed and shaped the profession and written its story. And, those who have demonstrated creativity through built environments that have elevated design for the greatest relevance and societal impact.
IFI GAP provides a world-mechanism to identify and catalogue a single-source repository of the discipline’s who’s who and library of hall-of-fame projects
As always, the 2021 IFI GAP Jury will be of the highest caliber representing a cross-section of top design firms and institutions from across the world. This year’s stellar group will assess and award the next slate of those that have raised the bar and inspired the Interiors profession through vision, leadership and execution. We look forward to sharing them with you soon.
GALA DINNER & AWARDS CEREMONY
IFI GAP will culminate with the IFI GAP Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held in conjunction with the IFI CONGRESS in November 2021 in São Paulo, Brazil. With concern for everyone’s health and safety, and understanding the yet unknown capacity for travel in November, the IFI CONGRESS and IFI GAP Awards Ceremony are being planned in a hybrid format. We are taking this opportunity to expand the program and make it more accessible through both digital and in-person components, providing the potential for multi-location, multi-time zone programs.
