Angie Lee Joins FXFOWLE Architects as Principal, Design Director–Interiors

2015/2015.0713.Re-S.AngieLee.full.jpgFXFOWLE Architects is pleased to announce that Angie Lee, RA, IIDA, has joined the firm as Principal, Design Director–Interiors. Angie will lead FXFOWLE’s award-winning Interiors practice which covers a wide range of projects of varying types and sizes–from corporate offices, public spaces, hotels, showrooms, educational facilities and multi-family residential buildings. In this role, she will provide strategic vision and oversee the design quality on all interiors projects.

Her philosophy of integrating design, technology and art in her work will be invaluable to the entire firm, and will bring a new breadth to our interiors work.”

With a focus on corporate and commercial interiors for the past 15 years, Angie also has experience in higher education, residential and hospitality projects. Her most recent work includes the IPsoft global headquarters and national and international interiors in New York, Chicago, London, and Tokyo, the design of a foundation headquarters in New York, the strategic planning for the Majid Al Futtaim MENA headquarters in Dubai, the GETCO NY headquarters in New York, and the BBC Worldwide Americas US headquarters in New York and Miami. Previously, she worked on the NYSE Next Generation trading floor in New York, the Standard Bank of South Africa in Johannesburg, the New York headquarters and broadcast center for CNN, the NASDAQ Marketsite in Times Square, the St. John’s University Queens student center and the hotel and education building at the GE Crotonville global training campus.

Angie attended the Ecole d’Art Américaines in Fontainebleau, France, and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a registered architect and a member of the International Interior Design Association.
