Andreu World Announces 2023 Jury to Annual International Design Contest

It is composed of five leading national and international professionals in design, interior architecture, and sustainability 

Andreu World, the international contemporary and cutting-edge design furniture company, is thrilled to announce the list of prominent personalities from the world of design who will form the jury for its 22nd International Design Contest. This competition, aimed at students, young designers, and professionals from around the world, seeks to support and promote new talents of design while highlighting the importance of sustainability in the creation of innovative furniture.

The jury of this latest edition represents different continents in order to provide a global perspective in the evaluation of the projects presented:
-Rossana Orlandi: Gallery owner and world-renowned Italian designer.
-Carmen Baselga: Valencian interior designer with an outstanding career in interior design.
-Inma Bermúdez: Spanish designer awarded with Spain’s Nacional de Diseño 2022.
-Luján Cambariere: Ibero-American journalist specializing in design and handicrafts.
-Yves Béhar: American designer and entrepreneur, founder of Fuseproject.

The central theme of this year’s edition, under the slogan “Beyond the plastic wave”, is the creation of innovative designs using sustainable materials that help reduce plastic waste and generate a positive impact on the planet.

The contest will award prizes to the winners as follows:

  • First Prize: 4,000€
  • Second Prize: 2,000€
  • 3 honorable mentions

The pieces submitted must be original and must not have been previously commercialized or released. Entries are now open, and the deadline for submitting projects is 1 December 2023.
