Amy Storek and Byron Morton Appointed to IIDA President’s Council

The International Interior Design Association is pleased to announce that Amy Storek, Industry IIDA, vice president of A+D for North America at Herman Miller, and Byron Morton, Industry IIDA, vice president of leasing for the NeoCon and casual market showrooms at theMart, have been named to the IIDA President’s Council. The President’s Council is composed of international Interior Design industry leaders who are dedicated to advancing and supporting the mission, programming, and activities of IIDA.

FIIDA, LEED AP. “We are proud to designate Amy and Bryon as members of the President’s Council.”

As vice president of A+D Sales for North America, Storek leads Herman Miller’s team of A+D representatives across the U.S. and Canada. She is responsible for the A+D vision and strategy, nurturing A+D relationships at all levels, and developing tools to support architects and designers in their work. Storek is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a background in architecture and interior design. She has more than 18 years of experience in the contract furniture industry, working for companies such as Vitra and Haworth.

Byron Morton

Morton, vice president of leasing for the NeoCon and casual market showrooms at theMart, a Vornando Property, is responsible for approximately 1 million square feet of showroom space and works closely with the contract and casual furnishings industries. Prior to joining theMart, Morton worked in progressive roles of responsibility at SBC, The Southern Company, and Motorola. He has a diverse professional background, which includes sales, product development, product management, marketing communications, trade show management, and sales training.
