Turkey-based Luxury furniture line Casa International has selected its second global showroom partnership. Functions LA will display Casa Internationalā€™s inaugural collection featuring handcrafted, high-end furnishings by the renowned Italian designer Mauro Lipparini. Functions is set to showcase the inaugural collection in its Santa Monica showroom beginning 2016, and will be the official resource for sales in the Los Angeles area.

Casa, a half-century old design brand known for its superior craftsmanship, recently joined forces with Mauro Lipparini to introduce its first collection for the high end market under the Casa International brand. The Italia collection combines Lippariniā€™s powerful Italian minimalist style with exciting materials to create a uniquely Mediterranean vision for luxury rooted in warmth and comfort. Defined by spare forms, clear and powerful lines, the pieces in Italia offer a buoyant sense of pleasure and possibility.

Extending 30+ years of excellence in interior design and furnishings, Functions has served as reference for unique designs and highest quality products by the leading manufacturers of Europe. Within its showroom, Functions presents a distinct vision for contemporary living, from the minimalist modern classics by established master designers, to the latest creations by emerging talent.

Functions will premiere a variety of Casa International pieces, including case goods, tables, seating, sofas and compliments.

Functions showroom is located at 1418 Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica.

Italia – Bordano – detail

Pictured:Ā Bordano — Though sleek and simple, Bordano has exquisite details through out that make it a true jewel piece. The finely crafted tabletop comes together harmoniously with its counterpart, the slim metal legs. Exceptional detail is displayed both in the cut corners of the tabletop, as well as in the overall leg design. This unique table is supported by finely incised metal at the top of the legs, which are then bent inwards in order to provide support for the tableā€™s surface, bringing the two separate entities together in perfect harmony. The Bordano is available in walnut, smoked oak, sucupira, palissandro, and enable, as well as matte or gloss lacquer finishes.
