Open September 29th Through November 2nd, Interior Designers Can Submit Their Original Rug Designs for a Chance to Win a 5’x7’ Rug of Their Design Produced by Jamie Stern
For the 6th year running, Jamie Stern Furniture, Carpet, Leather & Fabric announces its 6th Annual Rug Design Contest. From September 29th to November 2nd, any interior designer or architect in the United States and Canada can submit an original design for the chance to have it transformed into a beautiful custom area rug.
All entries will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges comprised of three award-winning design professionals: Jeremy Levitt, Founder and Principal of Parts and Labor Design, Marcus Miller, Interior Designer at Workshop/APD and Evelyn Wilwerding, Director of Interiors at HOK Chicago. A Grand Prize Winner and two runners-up from each of four regions – Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and West – will be selected by the judges and will have their designs brought to life as beautiful area rugs made of 100% natural fibers.

To continue this proud tradition during this year’s contest, Jamie Stern is partnering with the nonprofit organization, One Tree Planted. For every original rug design received, Jamie Stern will plant a tree in crucial areas around the world to address environmental challenges and support essential reforestation efforts.
