Stinson LLP’s new office, located at 2200 Ross Avenue, Suite 2900, in Dallas, Texas, provides a modern, updated space that mirrors the firm’s values, allowing for growth, increased efficiency, and flexibility. Stunning views of downtown Dallas, swaths of natural light, high ceilings, and crisp design elements are a few things visitors and employees will notice as they walk through the new lobby and throughout the space.
We were presented with an opportunity to create new spaces and creatively figure out how to design them. The focus was on modernizing our office and creating an open and inviting space with plenty of light. The space is ultimately something that contributes to helping attract and retain top talent. We partnered with Gensler to design our new office in downtown Dallas and relocate from The Centrum, a space our firm has occupied since November 2001. The new space is centrally located, benefitting our clients, community partners, attorneys and staff while offering greater collaboration and growth flexibility in a more modern setting.
Our goal was to build on our experience and implement design strategies that create flexible spaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. We accomplished this by designing around a universal, flexible layout allowing us to rapidly adapt to our changing needs. Numerous meeting spaces enhance in-person and hybrid collaboration, while a large café serves as a hub for social and client gatherings. The café also serves as a space for events and can be adapted as a workspace if demands warrant.
Collaboration between our people was a critical aspect of the office design. The architects at Gensler did an outstanding job designing functional, safe, sustainable, and inclusive spaces while addressing how to remove barriers to productivity. In addition to the shared spaces, the design aimed to be accessible and convenient to ensure minimal disruption to flow and movement.
The project challenged the team with several factors, including moving to a space of smaller square footage. We worked closely with the architects to create an office where every square foot serves a functional purpose, and we can best serve our current and growing employee base.
“The Dallas office is an integral part of the firm,” Stinson’s Managing Partner Allison Murdock said. “This move enables us to be centrally located to our clients and positions us for growth in a competitive market. It is also an opportunity to further cement ourselves into the Dallas business community.”
Stinson partnered with Northmarq Capital, Fortis and Stream Realty to lease the 16,732-square-foot space for 12 years. The central location in downtown Dallas represents the firm’s growing influence in the city and commitment to its client needs.
