Your editor at officeinsight hails from Chicago, and as many around the country know, the Windy City stepped into a polar vortexof weather last week. With temperatures rivaling Antarctica and Siberia, Wednesday of last week shattered previous wind chill lows with a chilling 50 degrees below zero. For Game of Thrones fans, Winter is officially here, and Chicago took on a new temporary nickname – Chiberia. The conditions had many of us in the Midwest holed up in our homes – the city all but shut down for two days – dreaming of enticing (sigh) 50-degree weather in Florida and other southeastern and western regions. The weather has us dreaming of a warmer, brighter 2019 – but what may that look like?
