With the rise of remote work, companies lost an average of ten percent of revenue during the pandemic when their teamwork and collaborative encounters halted. In 2023 the hiring tsunami isn’t slowing down. As of November 2022, job postings on Indeed were up 49 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels. With more hiring in the future, employers must devise a solution to new employees’ collaboration and mentorship challenges. The metaverse may be one answer.
